‘iTrackBMI‘ is a BMI body screening measure tool based on US Customary or Metric units of user input data.
Body Mass Index (BMI) is an indicator of your body fat. It's calculated from your height and weight, and can tell you whether you are underweight, normal, overweight, or obese. It can also help you gauge your risk for diseases that can occur with more body fat.
BMI measurements are not intended to diagnose a disease or illness.
Targeted for users having to avoid bioimpedance weight scales that can potentially interfere with medical implant devices like pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs).
User input is then derived using measures taken from any analog weight scale.
For Adults (20 years or older) the standard Body Mass Index (BMI) is calculated using only height and weight.
Age and sex are NOT used in the official BMI formula (as defined by WHO and CDC).
Children and teens (2–19 years): BMI is calculated the same way, but interpretation uses percentiles based on age and sex (utilizing CDC growth charts contained locally within the app). All data conversions and calculations are internally performed within the app..
The converted result can be copied to the device clipboard, shared as a PDF by means of iOS/iPadOS/macOS action options, or import BMI body measurements automatically into the Health app (where available),
The application also provides an easy to use general purpose Unit of Measure conversion utility functions, which can be activated based on user preference.
When activated, it offers a substantial collection of Area, Distance, Speed, Temperature, Time, Volume, and Weight units in metric and other formats.
‘iTrackBMI‘ operates fully off-line (works in Airplane Mode) locally on your device and is designed to not share your information, including geo-location(GPS), with any party or entity for any purpose. No advertising features or User Accounts are supported.
